Humantay Lake

This tour allows our clients to visit the natural landscape of Humantay Lake. This lake is located in the town of Soraypampa and it has been turned in one of the most famous and favorite places to visit on Cusco. In order to visit Humantay Lake we only need one day and the walk is not that hard you only need to acclimate yourself to the altitude of the region, but you will not regret this decision when you saw the beautiful landscapes and precious colors of Humantay Lake.

Itinerary for Humantay Lake:

Pick up from the hotel.

We will aboard our transport to begin this tour on the northwest of Cusco on track to the town of Mollepata this journey will give us the opportunity to see the exuberant river of Apurimanc.

When in Mollepata we will take breakfast and then continue our trip on car until we reach the walking zone, so be ready to walk!

After a little break we will begin the hike on track to Humantay Lake located 4180 mamsl or 13,779 feets. Then after walking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes we will be able to see the precious landscapes, after the explanation of our guide you will have the opportunity to take as many photos as you can, enjoy the views or probably rest a bit. Finally, after returning to our camp, we will have an incredible lunch not just enjoying the food we will also be regarded whit the views and after a break we will return to Cusco.
